About Indy Event Guide
Indianapolis hosts over 500 conventions and major events every year. That means hundreds of thousands of visitors who don't know the city — wondering where to eat after their session ends at 10 PM, where to park without getting gouged, or whether they really need to try that shrimp cocktail everyone keeps talking about.
We built Indy Event Guide because the existing options aren't great. Visit Indy is generic tourism marketing. Yelp doesn't know you're here for Gen Con. Google Maps can't tell you which parking garages triple their rates during the NFL Combine.
This site is different. Every recommendation comes from people who've spent years working and living downtown. We know the skywalk shortcuts, the late-night spots, and which restaurants can actually handle a table of 12 firefighters on a Thursday night during FDIC.
